Brian Osborn
By Cainon Leeds
Editor-in-Chief
Meet Ankeny native, Brian Osborn, the former Editor-in-Chief of the Campus Chronicle. Osborn said he joined the Banner News staff because Julie Roosa, the advisor of the Banner, persuaded him into contributing and because he loves to write. His favorite area the news to cover is sports because “it’s interesting to see humans achieve such incredible feats.” He would like to see the Banner become “an outlet where people can have a chance to better understand the people around them.
Osborn hasn’t decided on a particular field of study, but would like to study in San Francisco and become a professional writer someday. He said that he lives by the words, “Live, love, and appreciate everything.” If stranded on an island, the three things that he would bring with him would be: his small library of books, a notebook, and a machete.
